The “MATLAB to Python for Industrial Automation” course successfully enabled participants to bridge the gap between MATLAB and Python programming for engineering applications. Students gained practical experience in translating MATLAB codes into Python, working with arrays, matrices, control structures, and data visualization. They learned to process industrial data using Python libraries such as NumPy, Pandas, and SciPy, and to implement basic signal processing and control algorithms. Additionally, participants developed a conceptual understanding of Python-based automation workflows and sensor/actuator interfacing, enhancing their ability to design simple real-world industrial automation solutions. The course fostered hands-on skills, analytical thinking, and applied problem-solving, aligning well with the intended course objectives.
