The signing of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between Universiti Teknologi Brunei (UTB), Brunei Darussalam, and KPR Institute of Engineering and Technology (KPRIET), Coimbatore, India, resulted in the successful establishment of an international academic partnership. The MoU created a formal platform for collaboration in education, research, training, and innovation.
As an immediate outcome, both institutions mutually agreed to initiate faculty exchange programs, joint research activities, and collaborative academic events such as international conferences, seminars, and workshops. The MoU also paved the way for student exchange opportunities, enabling undergraduate and postgraduate students to gain international exposure and research experience.
The agreement strengthened institutional ties and enhanced global visibility for both universities. It opened new avenues for interdisciplinary research, joint publications, and collaborative project proposals. Overall, the MoU significantly contributed to KPRIET’s internationalization strategy and reinforced UTB’s commitment to global academic cooperation.
