Department of Chemical Engineering along with IEI, KPRIET student chapter organised a webinar on Energy efficiency and Sustainability in Chemical plants on 30.1.2026 between 3-4pm in chemical engineering elective classroom. Ms. B. Umamaheswari, alumni of 2025 batch, who works as Associate project Engr. in ABB, Bengaluru was the resource person of the event. She delivers the concepts out of her experience in a fruitful manner and the students also took part actively in this webinar. They also asked questions in the end, which was nicely answered by the resource person. Convenor of the event, Dr. E. Nakkeeran, welcomed the students and introduced the resource person to the students. Also he proposed the vote of thanks to all.
