Interaction with CEO of Laxmi Charities Scholarship, KPR Institute Engineering and Technology, Autonomous Engineering Institution, Coimbatore, India

The interaction session with Dr. Shyamala Ashok, CEO of Laxmi Charities, resulted in meaningful engagement between the scholarship beneficiaries and faculty members. Nearly 2000 students are benefitting annually from various CSR initiatives of Laxmi Charities, and the session reinforced the organization’s continued commitment to supporting students in alignment with their individual interests and future aspirations. Dr. Shyamala’s discussion enabled students to reflect on their strengths, talents, and career goals, while her guidance provided clarity for academic and professional advancement. The session also highlighted the importance of skill development and emerging technology exposure, as students shared their participation in workshops such as Prompt Engineering and Generative AI. Dr. Shyamala appreciated their proactive learning approach and emphasized the significance of IIT PALS workshops, underscoring the need for students to complete the prescribed programmes as part of the scholarship renewal process.
