The session began with an overview of building automation systems (BAS), highlighting their importance in enhancing energy efficiency, comfort, safety, and operational control in residential, commercial, and industrial infrastructures. Mr. K.T. Manjunath, Trainer, Schneider Electric, provided a clear explanation of how automation is transforming conventional buildings into intelligent environments. The workshop included a practical demonstration using ETS (Engineering Tool Software), where participants learned how to configure and program KNX devices.
In conclusion, the workshop provided valuable knowledge on building automation and KNX technology. It successfully combined theoretical concepts with practical exposure, equipping participants with a foundational understanding of smart building systems
