The EEE FRONTIERS – Distinguished Lecture Series was successfully organized by the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, KPR Institute of Engineering and Technology, on 24th September 2026. The expert lecture titled “Electric Mobility 2030: Emerging Technologies, Research Trends, Skills and Career Opportunities” was delivered by Dr. C. Bharatiraja, Centre Head – Centre for Electric Mobility (CEM), Professor, Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, SRM Institute of Science and Technology.
The session provided students and faculty members with valuable insights into the emerging trends in electric mobility, advancements in EV technologies, current research directions, industry requirements, skill development, and career opportunities in the electric mobility sector.
The interactive session enabled the participants to understand the evolving technological landscape of electric vehicles and the importance of interdisciplinary knowledge, research orientation, innovation, and industry-relevant skills. The expert also shared practical perspectives on research opportunities and future developments in electric mobility, motivating students to explore higher studies, research, and career opportunities in the field.
The event received active participation and positive feedback from the students and faculty members. The interaction with the expert provided an excellent platform for knowledge sharing and academic–industry interaction, thereby contributing to the professional development and technical awareness of the participants.
