The Department of Computer Science and Engineering successfully organized a seminar titled "Mastering The Modern Stack: Cloud, DevOps & Version Control Essentials" on 31.08.2024, from 11 am to 1 pm at the IV CSE A classroom. The seminar was aimed at final-year students who have chosen the Full Stack Development vertical as part of their honor or minor degree, as well as those who have selected DevOps as an elective course. The objective was to provide students with industry insights and practical use cases related to "Cloud Native Applications Development" and "DevOps." The session began with Mr. M. Mohan, AP (SrG), introducing the chief guest, Mr. Mathan Raju, Principal Engineer Manager at Microsoft. Mr. Raju then took over the session, covering key topics including cloud computing, cloud-native applications, version control in application development, DevOps, and essential commands. The seminar was highly interactive, with students actively engaging and posing questions. Mr. Raju provided clear and detailed responses, enhancing the learning experience. The event concluded with students gaining valuable knowledge and practical takeaways in the fields of cloud computing and DevOps, crucial for their future careers in full-stack development.
